About Us What Is The Hilton Area Swim Team?
HAST is a non-profit, parent-run, age group competitive swim
team. Swimmers learn and/or perfect the four Olympic strokes - freestyle,
back, butterfly, and breast stroke from certified coaches. Meets offer our
swimmers a chance to compete, learn and have fun.
Hilton Swim Team is accepting swimmers who are looking to participate in
our year-round, competitive swimming program. Practices are generally Monday
through Friday, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Swimmers are encouraged to attend 2-3
practices a week to see improvement.
HAST places emphasis on teaching proper
technique while maintaining a fun, yet challenging, environment. HAST seeks
to provide facilities, training and encouragement for increased proficiency
fit competitive amateur swimming in addition to furthering the interest and
education of children and parents in competitive swimming and encouraging
and developing good sportsmanship, individual integrity, and team play.
We are a member of USA Swimming, abiding by its rules and
regulations for competitive swimming, and a member of the
McDonalds of
Rochester Swim League. -
